In the interest of saving time for all, we are allowing you to take PHOTOS of your personnel and attach the file to the personnel record or submit them to us by email. The issue is the quality of the picture. If you follow these guidelines, there should be no issues that will hinder the process of acquiring a photo ID for your personnel. This begins with taking a good photo. We need a "Head & Shoulders" shot, as shown below. Keep the camera (or cell phone) in the position to take a PORTRAIT of the person. Have them stand in front of a smooth, light colored background. The background works best if light blue, but tan or light green are okay, white or beige are acceptable. A sheet, poster board, a wall or a piece of cloth can serve as the backdrop. Glasses are sometimes a problem because of the glare from the flash or lights. Hats (and all head coverings) must be removed.
