Municipal Office Visitor Status and Info

East Brunswick Township

The East Brunswick Township Office is operational but the township building is closed to the public during regular office hours.  Contact information can be found on the township website at http://www.eastbrunswicktownship.org and is also posted on the office doors. You may call the township office during regular business hours of Monday through Friday 8:30am - 3pm at 570-943-2775.  You may utilize the drop box located under the office breezeway during this time if you need to drop something off.

Girardville Borough

Girardville Borough Hall as of March 18th 2020 is currently closed to the public. Sign is posted on front door to mail and sewer payments until further notice.

Any questions call the office 570-276-1635  and leave name number and brief message.


Mahanoy City Borough

THE MAHANOY CITY BOROUGH MUNICIPAL BUILDING IS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR
RESIDENTS AND EMPLOYEES.
The offices will remain open to employees who will continue to serve the public needs.
- All Borough business will be conducted via phone from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by calling 570-773-2150
- For all police, fire and medical emergencies, please dial 911.
Please call the Borough at 570-773-2150 if you have any further questions or need assistance.
All Parking tickets, handicapped registration, building permits , occupancy permits, rental registration will be accepted by mail. All
forms can be found on www.mahanoycity.us. And can be mailed to : Borough of Mahanoy City P.O. Box 6 Mahanoy City, Pa. 17948


McAdoo Borough

Borough of McAdoo’s Municipal Building will be closed to the public until further notice. To limit such risks and to help ensure public safety communication will be by phone only.

Inquiries, concerns, copies or to obtain permitting applications will be dealt with as needed.

The list of phone numbers for each department are as follows:

Tax Collector – 570-929-1628

All payments made payable to the departments above can be made via mail or dropped in the mail slot located on the front door of the building.

Any applications for permitting can also be dropped off in the mail slot or mailed.


Minersville Borough

Minersville Borough Office will be closed to public access beginning March 18, 2020 until further notice.    The Borough Office will be open to accept calls during normal business hours which are Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.  The Borough will continue to operate all offices including Administrative, Street, Police, Code, Water and Sewer Departments.

The Authorities will be limiting physical interactions between our employees and customers.  They will be suspending non-critical repair work on meters and any work that requires us to enter a customer’s home or business, unless the work can be done without direct contact with our customers.

We do have applications online for the compost cards, occupant permits, rental registration, etc.   Also, the Borough does offer alternative options for payment of your utility bills.

  • Our drop box is located on the Sunbury Street side of the building for payments
  • Check and money orders may be mailed to our office at Minersville Borough Office, 2 E Sunbury St, Minersville PA  17954

New Ringgold Borough

North Manheim Township

Orwigsburg Borough

The Orwigsburg Borough Office is operational, but the building is closed to the public.  Contact information can be found on the township website at http://orwigsburg.gov. You may call the Borough office during regular business hours,  Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at 570-366-3103.  You may utilize the drop box in front of the Borough Hall if you need to drop something off. Credit Card, Check or money orders only, no cash.

During this time, we intend to provide continuous operations throughout the crisis. The following services remain operational:

  • All emergency services including Police, Fire, Emergency Medical
  • Emergency Response to weather events
  • Refuse and recycling collection will continue unless a warranted stoppage occurs.
  • Water and sewer plants will remain staffed and operational

Palo Alto Borough

Borough Office will be closed the next two weeks.


Pine Grove Borough

Pine Grove Borough Office will be restricting their hours to the public starting on Tuesday, March 17th.

Pottsville City

Pottsville City Hall is closed to the Public.

Rush Township

Open 8 AM to 4:30 PM for Sewer and Garbage Payments, and Police Business Only


Saint Clair Borough

Municipal Building is closed. Utility payments can be made at the drop box or by paying at the front window. Code or complaints are being accepted by phone or making an appointment.


Schuylkill County Court House

The Schuylkill Court House and Government Offices remain open; however, the public is encouraged to refrain from seeking entry unless absolutely necessary.  Members of the public who do not have official business at or are visibly sick will be denied admission.  The public is encouraged to send payments required to be submitted to County Offices by mail or by credit card on line or via telephone. If you must deliver payment in person to the County Offices, a deposit box is available inside of the public entrance of the Court House.  Please submit payments in person by check or money order, as cash payments will not be accepted.  Envelopes will be made available, as needed.  Bail payments will not be accepted by deposit box, at the entrance, as documents are required to be signed.


Tamaqua Borough

Tamaqua Borough office is now closed to the public. The office will remain staffed to answer phones etc. Utility bills can be paid by mail, on line, or put in the night deposit box.
